In 1995 Diesel was WWF Champion, and he was turning into a big problem for Vince McMahon. Diesel was proving to be a poor choice of WWF Champion, and he had no one to work with. Mabel was chosen by McMahon for a mega push as he turned heel and became the King of the Ring. This was one of the biggest mistakes of the WWF's New Generation era.
