Annette Young asks researcher, Cecile Simmons, if there is a more sinister element behind the trend. Also France boasts one of the world's highest percentages of women in uniform. Yet the country still lags behind when it comes to addressing sexual assault and harassment in the military, according to female ex-soldiers.
