Friends, welcome back for part two of our E3 2017 round-up. Last week, we focused on the big three console companies of Microsoft, Nintendo, and Sony and what they brought to this year's show. This week, we turn our attention to some of the larger, independent game companies and talk about what Ubisoft, Bethesda, and Electronic Arts had on display this year. From there, we touch on a few games shown off at E3 which have had their release dates moved to 2018, then cover a few, small Nintendo tidbits, and wrap-up by touching on Microsoft announcing plans to overhaul the Xbox Live Avatars in a bid to increase their diversity options, as well as the ESA revealing the attendance for this year's E3 and the dates for E3 2018. Our Blast From The Past segment this week holds two equally classic movies which couldn't be more different, yet, oddly, released on the exact same day in 1987. Those two movies are Stanley Kubrick's look at the Vietnam War in Full Metal Jacket, and the Mel Brooks' sci-fi comedy, Spaceballs. Programming Note: We'll be off next week ahead of the Canada Day long weekend here in our home and native land, but will return with a new episode for you on Friday, July 7th. Continue reading ?
