A recent study from Public Agenda, with support from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the New York State Health Foundation, set out to find how Americans seek and use healthcare price information. We spoke to David Schleifer Director of Research for Public Agenda about what extent healthcare consumers seek price information, the implications of having a system with little price transparency, and what can be done to fix the problem.
