In today’s episode, I delve into the holistic approach to the endometriosis healing journey. Endometriosis is a full-body disease, and healing endo goes beyond just our diet. It is about healing the mind, body, and the spirit.

In this episode, you’ll hear:

-Ways to heal the physical body are looking at your diet and nutrients, pelvic floor physical therapy, physical therapy, massage, acupuncture, and most importantly movement.

-Movement doesn’t have to be hard core exercise, it can be taking a walk; the intensity of your workout can vary depending on where you are in your cycle.

-Supporting your gut health and digestion, balancing your blood sugar, and getting nutrients in your body to help manage inflammation and to make your body perform optimally.

-Stress has huge impacts on the body and we tend to overlook how much it affects our daily life; stress impacts on our blood sugar and adrenals, nutrient levels, and immune system.

-Stress management is very important when it comes to healing endometriosis, and movement is one of the best ways to manage stress; meditation, journaling, and anything that makes you feel great like spending time in nature are also very beneficial.

-Mindset work is very beneficial; our thoughts and the things we say to ourselves really have an impact on our daily lives and the energies that we attract into our lives.

-Negativity bias is where our brains are programmed to see negativity first. Great practices are to intentionally notice the positive in your day to day lives, practicing gratitude, and avoiding gossiping or speaking negatively about others because it will affect the way you feel.

-Be aware of everything that you are consuming such as books, TV, or even the news that affect your negativity.

-Connecting to something bigger than yourself is also great for your whole well being.
When embracing the body, mind, and spirit approach, it's all about finding what you need. Remember, you don't have to tackle everything at once. Take it step by step and find what works best for you. Trust your intuition. Figure out what works best for you, and follow your intuition. I am launching the Endo Warrior Circle, a membership program making holistic support more accessible. We will be talking about the holistic approach to healing your endo, and doors are opening in June!
