After doing sales and marketing roles in Unilever and Colgate Palmolive in the personal care categories, she successfully transitioned into Banking as the Chief Marketing Officer of Axis Bank. Carrying her marketing knowledge into banking, she set up the marketing team and delivered on the brand and business goals and over time additionally managed all the electronic banking channels of Axis Bank. The urge to reinvent herself yet again and chase an idea of ten years prompted her to turn entrepreneur with her first start up in 2005, IndianArtCollectors.com, the largest and most innovative online art platform to bring together artists, collectors, dealers, galleries and re-sellers onto a single powerful online platform.

IndianArtCollectors.com was acquired by NDTV recently and was further re-branded as Mojarto.com, an art discovery platform.With Mojarto.com, Manisha envisions to nurture and encourage promising artists alongside experts of their field. The platform is aimed at creating a unique, cutting-edge viewing experience with always-on international exhibitions, guest curations, gallery partnerships and daily updated videos and blogs that explore the ecology of the vibrant world of Indian art & collectibles in a fun and engaging way.

Key Stakeholder & Funding:
Mojarto.com has raised Rs 3 crore ($445,000) in its first round of funding from undisclosed investors. The funding came through NDTV’s subsidiary OnArt Quest Ltd.
IndianArtCollectors.com was acquired by NDTV and was further re-branded as Mojarto.com, an art discovery platform.
