BabyBerry an app that helps parents keep track of their baby’s overall growth and development by providing a 360-degree experience, covering things such as vaccination charts, growth milestones, and convenience features such as the ability to buy evaluated and recommended products and services.
Bala Venkatachalam BabyBerry completed his education from Bharathidasan University and prior to BabyBerry he was at Ozone Media, he Successfully built and led several high performance engineering teams at AOL and delivered some of the most critical platform and products that touch more than 50 million customers worldwide and built & led the engineering team to work on “Life Critical” medical devices for GE
The BabyBerry app seeks to track a child’s physical, emotional and cognitive growth. It provides personalised inputs and pushes relevant information to parents through its recommendation engine, mBryo, which takes into account the baby’s age, gender, demographics, hobbies, skills and the parents’ lifestyle. Parents receive alerts on when vaccinations are due and their possible side effects. They can compare their baby’s growth with WHO standards, and stay up-to-date with relevant and personalised tips about child care.
Funding : 1 million , from a group of investors, led by Nitin Bagamane of Coffee Day.
