With the Singapore ecommerce market expected to exceed $7billion in 2025, many companies are jumping on the ecommerce bandwagon due to rising rental costs and forsaking their traditional brick & mortar roots, towards greener online pastures. One thing however is prevalent on some people’s minds – What is the next phase for the ecommerce industry and how can smaller players compete with the bigger guys?

There are many reasons why ecommerce is growing at such an unprecedented rate but one of them can be attributed to numerous ecommerce platforms aiding businesses in integrating online and can provide a whole suite of online retail solutions ranging from delivery, website development, payment solutions, photography and even sales and digital marketing for business ranging from a one man show to a multinational company of more than 5000 staff.

One of the new players on the scene is iCommerce Asia which has emerged in the ecommerce industry as an integrated eCommerce Supply Chain Solutions Partner. They not only pave the way to entrepreneurship but also encourage businesses to seek internationally recognised. iCommerce Asia’s Managing Director Ali Madihid saw a gap within the ecommerce market when he started his company this year as he felt “there was no true ecommerce solutions provided in the market that can offer end to end solutions”

In just a few short years, Syed Ali has proven himself to be an unstoppable force while navigating the e­commerce landscape. With 12 years of experience working with logistics and supply chains under his belt, Ali is a man with remarkable prowess in the budding e­commerce industry.
Ali did his BA in Management from University of Manchester anf through the years, he has held senior management roles in various established organisations including Expeditors International, SATS Cargo, Reebonz Group and Zalora SEA.
As an expert strategist in his field, Ali has experience in developing and managing business units and operations in the US, UK, China and Southeast Asia.
