Filmmaker Drew Hanks joins the podcast today to talk about his independent film “The Made Man”. Drew self-financed his film and was able to get both a 35mm reel and a Blu-ray release created to celebrate the film’s release.
Drew is a huge physical media enthusiast and collector who set out to make sure his movie got a physical media release by whatever means necessary. Drew was so successful that he was able to get the Blu-ray sold on DiabolikDVD! If you’ve ever wondered how independent filmmakers work, how to produce a Blu-ray release on your own and the in-depth work that goes into producing your own physical media, or the business side of film festivals and the independent film scene, this is the episode for you!
