Good morning, Washingtonians! Your friendly neighborhood weather reporter here to give you the scoop on what to expect in your area.
According to the National Weather Service in Baltimore, MD/Washington, D.C., we've got a mixed bag of weather heading our way.
Tonight, expect scattered showers with cloudy skies and a low around 55 with a calm wind. Don't forget to bring that umbrella if you're heading out!
As we roll into Saturday, we'll still see some scattered showers, mainly before 9 am. The day will start cloudy, but gradually clear up with a high near 70. Keep an eye out for light west winds becoming northwest at 8 to 13 miles per hour in the morning, with gusts as high as 25 mph.
Saturday night brings partly cloudy skies, dropping down to a low around 44 with a north wind at 7 to 11 mph and gusts up to 21 mph.
Sunday will be partly sunny with a high near 60. Light northwest winds will shift to the west at 5 to 9 mph in the morning.
Looking ahead to the start of the workweek, Monday will bring lots of sunshine with a high near 66.
And for those of you planning ahead, Tuesday will be sunny with a high near 71. Expect mostly cloudy skies Tuesday night with a low around 54.
By midweek, on Wednesday, there's a chance of showers after 9 am, with highs near 70. Wednesday night brings another chance of showers, but clears up with a low around 42.
Heading towards the end of the week, Thursday looks bright and sunny with a high near 64. Thursday night will be mostly clear with a low around 43, and Friday rounds out the week with mostly sunny skies and a high near 68.
