The entire green movement is a gigantic hoax. The people are not falling for it anymore. The Fed is preparing the narrative to cut the rate right before the elections. DOJ Indicts Longtime Dem Rep. Henry Cuellar

• The Department of Justice (DOJ) announced the indictment of longtime Democratic Texas Rep. Henry Cuellar and his wife, Imelda.
• Cuellar and his wife allegedly accepted $600,000 in bribes from an Azerbaijanian Government-controlled oil and gas company and a bank headquartered in Mexico City, court documents say, according to a DOJ press release. In exchange, Cuellar allegedly obliged to try to shift American foreign policy in Azerbaijan’s favor. Cuellar also allegedly accepted to influence U.S Executive Branch Officials and legislative activity to help benefit the Mexican bank.
• “An indictment was unsealed today in the Southern District of Texas charging U.S. Congressman Enrique Roberto “Henry” Cuellar, 68, and his wife, Imelda Cuellar, 67, both of Laredo, Texas, with participating in two schemes involving bribery, unlawful foreign influence, and money laundering.

Poll: Majority of Americans See TikTok as a Chinese Influence Tool

• A majority of Americans see China’s popular TikTok app as a Chinese tool meant to influence and shape U.S. public opinion, according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll.
• Some 58 percent of respondents agreed with that the Chinese government uses TikTok, which is owned by Chinese tech giant ByteDance, to “influence American public opinion,” while 13 percent disagreed, with the rest saying they were unsure or didn’t answer, according to a report by Reuters.
• Meanwhile, 46 percent of Americans agreed that China uses TikTok to “spy on everyday Americans.”
• The survey also found that Republicans were more likely than Democrats to see China using the app to influence opinions in the United States. Moreover, 50 percent of Americans supported banning TikTok, while 32 percent opposed a ban. The rest were unsure.
• A majority of Americans, 60 percent, also said it was inappropriate for U.S. political candidates to use the Chinese app to promote their campaigns.

Election Interference’: Bragg Case Gag Order Puts Unprecedented Limitations On Trump Campaign

• Allies close to former President Donald Trump are furious with the gag order imposed on him and his campaign by New York State Supreme Court Justice Juan Merchan, telling the Daily Caller it is hamstringing his campaign like no other has been before.

• Trump and his campaign have been barred from speaking about Matthew Colangelo, a lead prosecutor in the case who spent two years serving in the Biden administration’s Department of Justice (DOJ) as acting associate attorney general.
• Trump and his campaign are also not allowed to speak about his former lawyer, Michael Cohen, or the jury. Cohen, who is a key witness in the case, has come under fire for discussing the case on TikTok while raising money for himself.
• These limitations apply to the entire campaign, tying the hands of the Trump political operation to fight back on a critical issue in the presidential race, one source familiar with the situation told the Caller.
• “The gag order says it applies to the president himself, and then it prevents him from instructing or ordering anybody else to do it. So, legally, that basically applies to anybody who works for him. And since he is considered basically the chairman of the campaign or the top dog on the campaign, the campaign applies to everybody who is on campaign staff.”
• The source also said they know Democrats are watching Trump’s every move, including his social media posts and campaign website, and described the gag order as “probably the most explicit example of campaign interference, where you’re actually telling your campaign … what they can and can’t say.”

Commission On Presidential Debates Schedules First Trump-Biden Debate For Sept. 16

• After rejecting the Trump campaign’s requests to fast forward the general debate, the Commission on Presidential Debates (CPD) announced that it is still sticking to its original plan to air the first broadcast on September 16^th, 2024.
• The commission said that its September event is the earliest it has ever held a debate in a statement on Wednesday, one day after senior campaign aides to Trump, Chris LaCivita and Susie Wiles, released a statement of their own calling for earlier debates.
• The previous record was established on September 21^st, 1980, during the Ronald Reagan and John Anderson debate era.
• Senior Trump advisors reiterated their willingness to collaborate directly with the Biden campaign. Both urged “every television network” to host the debates “with or without the stubborn Presidential Debates Commission.”
• However, the commission responded soon after, saying, “as it always does, the CPD considered multiple factors in selecting debate dates in order to make them accessible by the American public,” including religious holidays, federal holidays, early voting, and dates when individual states close ballots.
• In response to the Trump advisers’ assertion that “millions of Americans will have already cast their ballots” during the first debate, the commission claimed that it “purposefully chose September 16 after a comprehensive study of early voting rules in every state,” taking into account, among other things, North Carolina’s Sept. 6^th start date for mail-in ballots.
• Pennsylvania voters can pick up, fill out, and return ballots at their county boards of elections on September 16^th, the day of the first debate, according to CPD. Voters in Minnesota, one of the first states to allow in-person early voting, can start casting ballots on Friday, September 20^th.

Trump Campaign, RNC File Lawsuit In Battleground State To Stop Counting Ballots Past Election Day

• Trump’s campaign and the Republican National Committee (RNC) filed a lawsuit on Friday against the Nevada Secretary of State for allowing mail-in ballots to be counted after election day.
• Nevada currently permits such ballots to be counted that are received up to four days after the election, according to the text of 2021 state legislation. The Trump campaign and the RNC, along with the Nevada Republican Party, announced its challenge to the ballot counting deadline in a press release, arguing it “undermines the integrity of our elections and unlawfully extends the election past the federal Election Day mandated by Congress.”

Donald Trump Is in No Danger of Violating the Posse Comitatus Act

• Sir, the Posse Comitatus Act says that you can’t deploy the U.S. military against civilians. Would you override that?
• Trump: Well, these aren’t civilians. These are people that aren’t legally in our country. This is an invasion of our country. An invasion like probably no country has ever seen before. They’re coming in by the millions. I believe we have 15 million now. And I think you’ll have 20 million by the time this ends. And that’s bigger than almost every state.

We also believe that the Posse Comitatus Act does not conflict with or restrict (the inherent presidential powers to secure the border) and the PCA has, in fact, never barred the use of the military to secure the U.S. border…

• But let’s start with the statute. 18 U.S. Code § 1385 – Use of Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, and Space Force as posse comitatus states:

• Whoever, except in cases and under circumstances expressly authorized by the Constitution or Act of Congress, willfully uses any part of the Army, the Navy, the Marine Corps, the Air Force, or the Space Force as a posse comitatus or otherwise to execute the laws shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than two years, or both.

• As can be seen, the PCA has five elements. To violate the PCA, someone must: (1) willfully (2) use the Army, the Navy, the Marine Corps, the Air Force, or the Space Force (3) as a posse comitatus or otherwise (4) to execute the laws (5) in a way that is not expressly authorized by the Constitution or an act of Congress.

if Donald Trump uses the military to execute the law, for him to be violating the law, all five elements must be proven for him to be tossed in jail (which I am sure TIME Magazine will be pushing for). He must have done so willfully, which is not always easy to show. He also must be using the military as a “posse comitatus or otherwise.” Now, we know what “posse comitatus” means – a “posse” is what the sheriff rounds up to catch the criminal – and the “comitatus” simply means that the sheriff had the right to call for assistance from all men in the county over 15 years old, including all military forces. The “otherwise” portion of this element is not easy to define – it may “suggest a desire by Congress to seal off attempts at circumvention via the expedient of simply using the military to enforce the law without formally labeling such a use the mustering of the posse comitatus.” And finally, neither exception in the PCA must be available for Trump; and, without a doubt, one clearly is – the Constitution clearly expressly authorizes the president to secure the border (see above).
