"Brilliant. So now we got a huge guy theory, and a serial crusher theory. Top notch."

Conspiracy Theatre 3000 is back! We might have missed Saint Patrick's Day but it doesn't mean we can't breakdown one of the best cult classics ever made, The Boondock Saints! That's right we are back with an absolute banger. Unfortunately Bob wasn't able to join us for this one, but the show must go on. To help us out with this breakdown we got friend of the show and fellow podcaster Ghost from the My Third Eye Podcast.

Boondocks Saints the 1999 action film written and directed by Troy Duffy presents a story about two twin brothers Irish Catholic twin brothers Conner and Murphy. Tired of the crime overrunning the streets of Boston, they are inspired by their faith to cleanse their hometown of evil with their own brand of zealous vigilante justice. As they hunt down and kill one notorious gangster after another, they become controversial folk heroes in the community. But Paul Smecker (Dafoe), an eccentric FBI agent, is fast closing in on their blood-soaked trail.

This film delves deep into the moral compass of what it means to be part of a community. What happens when good men do nothing and what happens when they do! The fine line between hero and vigilantism plays the primary message of this film. Combined with theological, religious and spiritual themes it demonstrates the evils that exist in our world.

"We must all fear evil men, but there is another kind of evil we must fear most and that is indifference of good men".

If you haven't seen this film you really are missing out! Go check it out today and let us know how we did breaking down "The Boondock Saints".
