Continuing on from last week, in this episode of Bare It All, Tracey and Zoe chat about the tools you can use to have the hard conversations. Whether it be in friendships or intimate relationships, fostering trust and safety in communication is key to having successful hard conversations that honour both sides to be heard, felt and seen. They give us an easy to use process to give you the best chance of getting compassionate and heartfelt responses instead of reactions.
In this ep you'll hear about:
- what happens to relationships when you avoid having the tricky or hard conversations
- recognising that although it's not easy it's incredibly healing to have the hard conversations
- why it's important to let go of the other person's response to you before going in to have the conversation
- why you might've experienced blow ups in the past when trying to bring up a hurt or frustration in relation to another
- what can happen when giving yourself permission to be the full spectrum of emotion and speak up
If you are wanting to deepen the understanding you have with the loved ones in your life and know having the hard conversations are the key, then this is certainly the podcast episode for you!
