Emma Stuart only started running in 2018 and since then has become one of the top females in the Ultra Running scene. She has won some of the biggest races in Europe including the 100-mile Arc of Attrition, 100-mile Ultra-Trail Snowdonia and the
205 mile Tor des Geants. She recently shared a podium with Courtney Dauwalter when she finished 3rd in the North Face Transgrancanaria race. She also won her first race on home soil in Ireland in March at the Maurice Mullins IMRA 50k which qualified her to run for Team Ireland at the European Off-Road Running Championships in May.
In this episode we spoke about Emma's rise from non-runner to regular race winner, her trail running tips including mastering the downhills and her experiences at some of the toughest races in the world.
