You might think that what triggers you is not something within your control. You may define yourself by your triggers and accept them as part of yourself. Would you consider another way of handling them besides avoiding, trying to prevent, or being upset about what triggers you? Maybe you don't want to admit or acknowledge you have triggers because you should know better and don't want what is really happening inside you to be found out.
