The term IVF refers to in vitro fertilisation. A medical facility that specialises in IVF is known as an IVF centre. IVF is a sort of assisted reproductive technology (ART) that is used to aid couples who are having trouble conceiving a child. A laboratory dish is used to fertilise an egg with sperm, and the fertilised egg (embryo) is subsequently implanted into the woman's uterus.
