Everybody seems to be curious as to what the first day of going to the military training academy is like. Well my first day ended up giving me a friendship which has lasted for 33 years.

I come from a family where my ancestors fought in the 1857 and world war 2. My grandfather was a farmer and my father an AMC JCO. It was a journey which I cherish with the bottom of my heart.

The year was 1988 and the entire experience involved travelling in a train, having a fever and loose motions. All in all it was a day I would not forget.
