In 1996 in San Francisco, CA, Darren J. de Leon and Norman Zelaya formed Los Delicados. Paul S. Flores would join them and for the next 5 years they scorched poetry stages everywhere with their style they called the Word Descarga. This podcast goes over the history of Los Delicados as they rose from a spoken word ensemble to the leading Latinx Poetry groups.
