After being gone for a couple of months due to illness and a pandemic, I’m back! In this episode I talk about getting back into the swing of things, changing my teaching style, and how to keep students motivated by bringing in guest speakers.

This week I attended the OETC2020 conference. I was a judge for the Drones in School contest and I also had my Playground event where I focused on Playing to Learn. Here I share my insights from what I’ve learned from others and what I’ve been inspired to do next.

In this episode I talk about today’s experience as a volunteer at Trimble high school. When given the choice of doing something drag & drop vs hard coding they choose hard coding. Students are engaged in the process of learning - which is awesome!

We attended a meet up, a WordPress meet up today at IHOP in Athens. We is myself and one of my second year students. A lot was learned By both me and my student. The timing was perfect because she just got hired on to redo a wordpress website.
