Luke Wright has been described as "one of the funniest and most brilliant poet of his generation" by The Independent. He writes bawdy bar room ballads about Westminster rogues and small town tragedies. He is a regular on BBC Radio 4 and the author of seven one man poetry shows, touring with them all over the world. His latest is Stay-at-Home Dandy. His debut collection, Mondeo Man (Penned in the Margins), was published in 2013 to great acclaim. The Huffington Post gave it five stars, calling it "a riot of cheek, giggles, boobs, tears and Facebook." He co-curates The Spoken Word Arena at Latitude, one of the country's biggest poetry events, and is the poetry editor at boutique publishing house Nasty Little Press. “Cool poems.” Patti Smith “The most relevant poet of his generation.” Exeunt “Timely, patriotic, touching and consistently funny, this outstanding show marries form and content in a way that defies superlative and leaves a choking gap within you when it finishes.” ★★★★★ The Scotsman on Luke Wright’s Cynical Ballads
