John Thornley, Wesley Broadway access radio presenter, in the studio with Bryan Crump, host of Radio NZ Nights. The series titled 'Songs of the Spirit' ran after 7 pm on seven Wednesday nights, from June to December 2016. Each night the two shared thoughts on key songs by a diverse bunch of artists: Paul Simon, Bob Dylan, Bob Marley, Peter Cape, the Band, Patea Maori Club, and Aretha Franklin. Those interested can search the Radio NZ website. Some highlight shows from 2016 will replay over January 2017, and will be put up on the On Demand back listings for those interested. They include: Poi E - a discussion shared with Angela McGregor, te reo Maori Tutor; Moana Maniapoto, APRA Award winnter; Pilgrims -members of Wesley Broaway Church in Palmerston North, share progressive views on faith beliefs and actions - not the capture of a 'resuscitation' dogma but the liberation of 'resurrection'.
