Jesus declared to his disciples, "If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me." Christ never offered to be part of our life or fit into our lives. His offer was to become our life. Soren Kierkegaard, Danish Philosopher nailed it in his book Provocations when he said, "The Bible is very easy to understand. But we Christians are a bunch of scheming swindlers. We pretend to be unable to understand it because we know very well that the minute we understand we are obliged to act accordingly." This is Unfiltered. Where we explore the Scriptures, ask hard questions, and consider the repercussions. What if Jesus meant what He said? Because, if He did, it probably looks drastically different than what we see today!
