From an old converted barbershop inside the area's largest all-nude strip club comes The Music And Arts Guild Showcase with your host, James McGee. AM1700 is joining forces with The Music And Arts Guild to form a supergroup not seen since The Birthday Party and members of Einsturzende Neubauten and Magazine teamed up to form Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds. Focusing on local music with weekly live, in-studio performances, the Music And Arts Guild Showcase aims to spotlight bands that are making great music in the area. James handcrafts each show by picking out only the best in local music. The Music & Arts Guild Showcase broadcasts every other Thursday evening from 6PM to 8PM EST on AM1700, available at 1700 AM to the good people of Ypsilanti, Michigan and online at www.am1700radio.com for the rest of the free world.
