La definición de justicia según los juristas en el Islam “es conceder a cada ser/cosa su derecho”. Según esta definición, establecer justicia en todos los aspectos de nuestra vida, es un mandato de Allah para nosotros, y por eso la justicia como una virtud suprema. Dice Allah en el Corán: “Dios ordena la justicia, hacer el bien y ayudar a la familia; pero prohíbe la obscenidad, la mala conducta y la opresión. Así los exhorta para que reflexionen” (Corán 16:90)
