The term “friendly skies” can be deceptive. We think of the skies as the blissful blue beyond. With winds aloft and wispy clouds. If we just stare at the sky, maybe we think of an idyllic gentle breeze, the calm and charm of guessing the shapes of the lazily drifting clouds. We don’t think about the turbulence we can experience, even when there’s not a cloud in sight. We seldom think of the storms, the freezing cold temperatures maybe just a few thousand feet above our heads. But planes thrive in this environment. It’s what they’re built for. If we apply some of the lessons we can learn from flying through these skies to our day to day lives, well, who knows where we might thrive. This is a podcast of self-exploration and appreciation. Here you’ll hear stories, good and bad, we’ll discuss current events and past ones. And together we’ll use the lessons learned as tailwinds to push us to our next destination, we might even learn a thing or two along the way. So, insert the metal fitting into the buckle, sit back and relax. Welcome to The Plane Truth.
