Tales of a boy's childhood (growing up in 1970's Southwestern Ohio, to Southern Baptist Appalachian parents) and the trials and tribulations as he makes his way, ultimately making discoveries along the way and embracing each change and the growth they bring. As the boy becomes a man, a blissfully divorced father of 3 and stumbling even fumbling through the opportunities of post heterosexual adult male father, grand father who recognizes that the flavors of the present sparks memories, and those memories, much like Fried Apples, are unexpected tart and sweet, once tasted never forgotten.
