As international students who have taken very non-traditional paths to medicine, we understand many of the struggles international students and immigrants face on this path. We know the struggle with choosing an undergraduate major, maintaining a good GPA, working part-time on campus, and gathering volunteering experiences. We understand how frustrating it can be to find a physician to shadow and get research and clinical experiences in a place where you have very few connections and support. We know how intimidating preparing for the MCAT is and how overwhelming and expensive the AMCAS, AACOM, and TMDAS applications are; we are here to help you simplify the process. With the aim of creating a space for you to get the information you need to successfully apply to medical school as an international student and immigrant, no matter what part of the process you are in right now, we are committed to sharing resources that will be very helpful to you and your journey.
