A lifelong performing musician, as a young boy, SiriusXM host Dean Baldwin was inspired by his mother’s musical talents and began learning his first guitar chords while still mastering the alphabet. Growing up with a deaf musician as a mother, Dean learned to listen to and analyze music in a unique way. In his teenage years, he developed a passion for the rock of the 1970s along with the metal and hair bands of the 1980s, while continuing to grow in his appreciation for a wide range of musical genres and artists, from Metallica to Barry Manilow, Pavarotti to Waylon Jennings, Dokken to Buddy Holly, Dean finds a commonality in all music.
