ReefCast is a Traditional Owner led and owned podcast and media company diving deep into the stories of Traditional Custodians from across the Great Barrier Reef and beyond. Our mission is to share the honest stories of Traditional Custodians, sharing their rich narratives, vital issues, and the real stories that shape their Sea Country. Through engaging podcast episodes, captivating updates, and immersive content, we bring the heart of the Great Barrier Reef's Traditional Owner communities to a global audience.
As a Traditional Owner-led platform, ReefCast is more than just a podcast; it's a movement. Founded on respect, recognition, and acknowledgment of Traditional Custodians, we're creating a space where the first stewards of the Great Barrier Reef can speak freely, outside institutional boundaries, about their land, sea, and the crucial importance of preserving their cultural heritage for future generations.
With regular episodes featuring real people, real stories, and real issues, ReefCast is a call to action. It's an invitation to listen, learn, and engage with the First Nations of the Great Barrier Reef as they share their wisdom, challenges, and hopes for sea Country. Join us on this journey to protect and honor the world's largest coral reef system, seen through the eyes of its oldest stewards.
