On todays pod Lou Angelwolf, an American stand up comedian makes his debut. Lou and Carmen are good friends and have performed together on the same stages since the early 90s. In this episode the the comedians talk about the Sopranos and Tony's mental health issues. Also about Lou's use of therapy and how what you learn from 0-5 still controls you. Germans vs Italians comes up and Carmens speaks a little of both. Lou makes good points about talking to priests and about the feminine side of men. Every so often we here Donny and his attempt to stop Carmen from interrupting Lou when he talks about the Indians and how they consulted with the council of Grandmas. Also much more.…
In this ridiculous episode Carmen and Donny bring back special guests Bean and Superbad along with comedy booker for the Zoo Sports Club Jeff Pfannes. Jeff talks about getting massages at poker and Carmen asks if he would get one from a man. The gang talks more about Carmens faults including his hair and how he is ok with getting canceled. Jeff saw Carmen years ago at a club and just recently again and says a few nice things about Carmens stand up. Group showering rears it ugly head again and Jeff adds new information about a car wash style shower he would take in high school. Keep listening folks.…
In this strange episode Carmen and Donny talk with Ryan Sharp and Jeremy Martin from the Bean and Super Bad Show and the Coming This Summer Podcast. The difference in generations is clear in this episode starting with how each generation decides who their friends are. Back in the 80s things were clearly different including how comfortable guys were in front of each other in the locker room. Showering in schools is not common anymore and after this episode you'll know why.…
Donny thinks Carmen has a disease that makes him defy authority and Carmen agrees but also adds that he thinks its positive. We also talk about what Hanes underwear could do with all their reject tighty whities and how Carmen is like a machine that passes gas. Friends is also discussed, not the show but actual friends. Enjoy.…
Well my boredom has led me to delve into multiple topics on YouTube and I discuss this with Donny. Most of the pods I've noticed is me convincing Donny on some topic. In this pod I convince him why he should visit the Amish, why he should understand Quantum Physics, How fighting should be handled and something about Monsters and Double Dating and way more cause this thing went over an hour. Get on a treadmill and listen.…
The Boomers don't get when the youth is making fun of them so be more direct. Also in this episode Carmen talks about seeing old guys on the beach trying to get attention and how the youth need to be the loud ones. Fearful society and why the NYC subways need more people sticking up for each other. Donny and Carmen also talk about the need for good friends that can be truthful and say things like "you gotta be dreaming if you think this podcast is going anywhere"…
There has been some discussion lately between me and Donny that I might need a list of topics to talk about. I've prided myself on Improving the whole pod but I'm up for a change. This would be guided Improv at the very least. Also we talk about the Popes house, I guess, cause that's the title. As always this pod should be used for entertainment purposes only and never as a source of actual advice. Later, Carmen P. Ciricillo…
In this episode we start off by talking about people who can ignore annoying noises and what their IQ is. Also how water shapes rocks and how Carmen is a rock. Then we do more nonsense talk which leads to the missing tiny rake. Carmen put this pod all together at the end by discussing how to keep AI on its toes by being illogical. Then we find out at a little over an hour into the pod that Donny cut off the recording. Enjoy!…
Donny's not happy with the direction of the podcast. It might be going off on too many tangents from Hooters to Church to Rockets to Batmans in the Multiverse. One thing for sure its not boring and most likely this podcast format will not change.
Its hard for Carmen to be in a system and he warns those who have systems to never invite him. Also Carmen uses the stair master at the gym quite often and sometimes to stare at people while he's climbing to nowhere. Donny helps Carmen make the connection between stair and stare and as always we keep it light in this podcast about very little except entertainment.…
In this pod Carmen brings back Don King Cady aka Donny. After almost two years Donny is back producing and chiming in on the Carmen Ciricillo Show. We talk about the comedy scene and how everyone wants to be famous. Its better to get a job that has structure is a main theme of this pod and we encourage you to get one. Enjoy this episode brought to you by no one. Maybe one day we will have sponsors but probably not.…
The weird thing about the definition of being consistent is that being inconsistent on a consistent basis can fit the definition. So here we are 6 weeks from the last podcast was published putting out another one and promising again that I will be more consistent meaning that I will be more predictable. Well let's hope so for my sake. Enjoy the show.…
Carmen doesn't want to talk like Jordan Peterson talks. He likes JP he and he listens to JP but he's not funny. In funny sometimes you got to be stupid and JP is never stupid and that's a problem for a comedian. Being stupid and risking people thinking you're an idiot is part of being comedian. So for me I stay away from all smart talk all the time. I can talk smart but who wants to? Not me. You can easily tell that by what I'm writing here and how I went from 3rd person to first. Anyway listen to the pod if you want to have a spike in your baseline brainwave activity.…
This is part 2 of my discussion with my great friend and comedy cohort Tim Wilkins. We discuss the League of Comedic Shadows, Trump as Goat Boy, The Dark Side of Comedy, Casino Advertising and more. Tim and I have worked many gigs together and have a ton to talk about so sit back and enjoy the 33 year relationship of two stand up comics.…
In this two part podcast, Carmen breaks a few balls with longtime friend and comedy collaborator Tim Wilkins. Carmen met Tim in Los Angeles in 1991 at a comedy gig and since then the two have written for Jay Leno, created commercials, produced comedy shows and appeared on stage together over the decades. Carmen discusses with Tim how big his pod supposedly is in Poland, how to use comedy for other purposes, the sad part of stand up, how comedians can't donate anonymously and the possibility of Tim and Carmen starting a podcast together. Enjoy!…
