In elementary school Tim was unable to make friends and spent most of his days alone. One of his teachers even purchased a small ball for him so that he would have something to play with at recess. Not only did Tim not have any friends but he was constantly made fun of. They made fun of his bright red hair, his homemade clothes and his “weirdness” In middle school Tim was bullied. Kids would seek him out to make fun and threaten him daily. Tim resorted to taking different routes around the school to avoid the torment. Once he even took a small pocket knife to school to stab the next kid that picked on him. Nobody made fun of him that day. The fights between his dad and himself began to increase in intensity. Tim’s parents divorced and Tim and his sister moved in with his mother. His father had checked himself into a hospital for a mental breakdown. Before his senior year in high school Tim’s mother and sister moved to California and Tim moved in with his dad. Soon he was taking car of his sister and father. In 1992 Tim met his now wife, then three months later his dad was diagnosed with cancer. He died two months later. Tim was 24. Tim finally went to school and received a degree in business management. He married his wife, they had three children and they worked and did the best they could to make life work. They struggled in many ways, financially and emotionally. With no guidance they did their best and forged ahead. Tim felt a lot of anger
