Todd Sears is a real life "Crash Davis." A native Iowan, Sears had big league stints with the Minnesota Twins over the course of 2 seasons in the early 2000s during his 11 year professional baseball career. In this conversation with Andy Flattery, Todd recounts the time he went yard against Pedro Martinez, his David Ortiz story, and the time his Nebraska Cornhusker team brawled with their rival, the Creighton Blue Jays.

Lastly, Todd proposes an amazing "alternate reality" when he discusses the very real possiblity that he would have played both baseball and basketball at Iowa State University.
