However despite our reliance on domestic workers, the sector remains under-regulated, and something as basic as mandatory leave days are not guaranteed for domestic workers here. We speak to Nasrikah Paidin, coordinator of the Indonesian domestic worker NGO PERTIMIG on why they are advocating for 24-hour days-off to be made mandatory for domestic workers.
