Join us tonight as we explore the most well documented, and longest case of Demon Possession to ever occur in the United States, that of Anna Ecklund. Clocking in at over 16 weeks, 3 of which were a nonstop battle with the Devil himself, this story is one of the most compelling cases for Demonic Possession we've ever come across. Demonic Possession has been around since time immemorial, and so why, out of all the billions of options, did the Devil himself allegedly possess an innocent young woman in Iowa, starting in the late 1800's. We definitely intend to try to figure it out. This episode was definitely not an easy one for us, for many reasons, but the aspect of mental illness is definitely one of the biggest. If you are struggling and need help, we recommend you head over to The National Alliance on Mental Illness's website and find the help that is there for you. Our source material for this episode was the booklet, Begone Satan!, by father Carl Vogl. This document is in the public domain.
