Peter Day created his first multi-track recording when he bounced a track from his family's Craig cassette deck to a portable Radio Shack when he was a teenager in the 1960s. Inspired by the likes of multi-track pioneers Paul McCartney, Emitt Rhodes and Todd Rundgren, Peter has recorded numerous albums and singles over five decades. Never one to stay in one creative space, he transverses from ballads, to atmospheric synth-based explorations, to rock and funky-based jazz. Peter also is half of flute-guitar/keyboard duo Brooks & Day. Note: There are several musicians named Peter Day in the U.S. and UK. This Peter Day grew up in the Pasadena area and currently resides in the rural desert town of Lucerne Valley, California.
