有一個地方它叫「理想國」，理想國裡有個劇團 。
理想國並不理想，這是大家都知道的；理想國有很多故事，這是大家都不知道的。 ──理想國宣言
「理想國的劇團」成立於2017年夏天，團名靈感以柏拉圖《理想國》以及《綠野仙蹤》( The Wizard of Oz )裡的翡翠城作為原型。
劇團以「哲學性」、「社會性」與「時事議題」為創作核心展開討論，從生活裡的矛盾與衝突中取材，向現代社會提出哉問，激起觀眾對社會、國家或自身的關注，建立起更和平的未來。
「躲在洞穴不願看清真相的眼睛，為吞噬一切的怪獸畫上了最後一筆。我們永遠無法看清世界的全貌，我唯一知曉的事，便是我一無所知」
