最近podcast的盛行，我們結合現在的流行趨勢推出一個屬於線上的華語教學，利用podcast廣播節目，加上學習平台，讓學習者能夠透過聽力，學習關於台灣的日常流行用語、文化故事以及文化差異的相關知識。
閒話家常本意為聊一些日常的瑣事，我們希望可以透過像和朋友聊天的方式，將華語教學融入節目中。我們的節目名為閒「化」家「常」，「化」是文化的「化」，我們的節目介紹許多臺灣特有的文化，從中能聽到臺灣的文化小故事，以及與不同國家的文化差異。「常」則是日常，透過日常對話介紹臺灣流行語等。
