The QBG Podcast is hosted by two Queer Black Girlfriends, India and Brittany, who met in a whirlwind friendmance that included charcuterie boards with the finest meats and cheeses, a shared love of books, and most importantly the genuine desire to be the next Oprah Winfrey and Gayle King. Bittersweet news came when India announced she was moving to the West Coast in the winter of 2020 and their friendmance turned into a long distance friendship and partnership. Together the two have hosted Clubhouse rooms with 70+ Queer Black Womxn talking about everything from "Toxic Masculinity in Lesbian Communities" to "Proper Strap Etiquette" to "How to Breakup with Friends". As this new adventure unfolds, the intention is that listening to the QBG Podcast will expose you to a different perspective on being a Queer Black Womxn, Friend , Daughter, Sister and Partner. Meditations, relationship strengthening activities/exercises, affirmations and sage advice through the lens of our life thus far are some things shared in each episode. "We laugh together, we grow together, we problem solve together and we hold each other accountable for showing up as our most authentic selves. By listening to our podcast, you too, are now a part of that "WE" and together we're changing the narrative of what it means to be at the intersection of Queer, Black, and Womxn. We're a riot, a revolution and a safe haven all at once. We're a damn good time." -Brittany and India
