About Julie

How did you become a Business Coach for Female Entrepreneurs?

I started my first business at twelve years old when I convinced a local contractor in our small California resort town to lend me the use of a commercial dumpster. Every Sunday afternoon I’d set up my lawn chair and sign in front of the dumpster and charge visitors $5 a bag to dispose of their weekend’s garbage so they didn’t have to haul it home with them. The business was so successful that the town Women’s Club still runs the Sunday Trash Collection.

That first taste of entrepreneurship lit a fire in me. I loved being my own boss, setting my own hours, and the possibilities of increasing my income each Sunday.

I grew up, got married and had children. I helped my husband start a construction company in the Pacific Northwest. I enrolled in one of the best hands-on business training programs in the country when I joined a networking marketing company. I learned about perseverance, balancing my business goals with my personal life, and how to network. Then it all fell apart.

I divorced and the network marketing company went bankrupt. I packed up my stuff and moved back to California to rebuild my life. And the hunger to start my own business flared up again.

This time I wanted to create a business that was uniquely mine. I wanted something that would make a huge impact on women’s lives. I’d never heard of ‘life coaching’ until I stumbled upon a coaching school and a thrill of recognition passed through me. I knew that I had finally found what I’d been looking for. I felt as if I had come home to myself.

But I was a long way from success. My first few years were spent stumbling forward two steps, back one. I worked a job during the day and worked my business on the weekends and evenings. On the phone with my clients I was fearless and they became fearless. They dug deeply and grew tremendously. But in my own business my fear kept me small.

I started to look for answers. Why did I keep myself small? Why was my fear always in charge? Why couldn’t I create in the physical world this great vision I had in my head?

I wandered through bookstores and the right books would jump off the shelf at me. I looked for mentors and the right classes and teachers would show up. I joined mastermind groups, and women’s wealth groups and hired great coaches. And I found answers that worked.

As my success grew, my desire to help other women rediscover their power, to come home to themselves grew. I found myself on a mission to help women discover that they are not their bundle of fears but that they are more. They are connected to something bigger.

When a woman steps into her soul-mission then her business becomes an expression of who she is. She begins to vibrate with a joy and happiness that can heal her wounds, her family and the world.

I discovered my mission to heal the world by helping women build kick-ass businesses that fill their hearts with happiness and their wallets with money.

Who are your ideal clients?

I love working with women entrepreneurs. They have a zest for life and a fire to really make a difference in the world. I work best with women in that juicy place of just starting their business or just getting serious about moving their business into a more prosperous financial lane. They are sick of playing small and ready to make serious money. My clients must be willing to dig deeply within to uncover the hidden beliefs that chase away success, do the hard work of transforming their doubts, fears and worries into peace and happiness, then stretch out of their comfort zone to take massive, inspired action in their businesses and lives.

It’s a wild, crazy fun adventure.
