On tonight’s edition of the Education feature, we take a look at how entrepreneurial programs in prisons can help prisoners & ex-prisoners to reintegrate into society and contribute positively. One of the challenges that ex-prisoners face when they are released is unemployment and this may lead them to committing crimes again if they remain unemployed for a long period of time. Therefore, teaching entrepreneurial skills empowers them to start their own businesses and gain autonomy and economic stability. Perhaps you’re an ex-prisoner and have tried to start your own business, how’s that going for you?
