I'm excited for today's topic because I feel this has been a big topic in our world today and that's mental health.

When it comes to the brain or consiousness there is still so much we don't currently understand.

What we do understand is that it is wonderfully complex and powerful.

There is so much we can do to use this complex and powerful machine to our benefit.

But There is also so much we can do to allow it to cause so much trouble and suffering.

So We'll be diving into a lot of topics on our mindset in this podcast as there is literally unlimited things to learn!

A massive issue I see and experience myself is: Lack of Focus or Low Attention Span.

This is massively due to the instant 'microwave' soeciety we live in.

All our communication or information is virtually all Instant.

So whenever we need to be patient or need to be focused, our thoughts tend to wounder.

I wanna share my personal top tips on how to start to overcome this and be so much more focused.

#1 Decrease the amount of random input in your life.

Everything you watch, see and listen to is a seed sown into your life.

If it's not gonna reap you a harvest you want than it's better you don't consume it!

A big tip in this area is in reduce Social media - But something that's helped me is actually to browse slower!

What i mean is: Instead of speeding through things and scrolling fast which is basically training your brain to NOT focus

I like to scroll slower and actually consume the information more deeply and actually engage with it - which trains your brain to focus.

This has been a game changer for me and iv'e felt my focus improve massivly just with this simple tip!

#2 Is meditation - Basically calming yourself and being aware of your thoughts and when random thoughts come in you can constantly pushing them aside and refocusing on your breathe.

this get's easier over time, but in the beginining it really feels like a mental work out!

So many benefits to meditation and being aware! simply good search it and you'll see what i'm talking about!

My Third Tip has been an eye opener for me and thats:

It's easier to fight thoughts with words - than to fight thoughts with your thoughts.

I've tried to overcome negative thinking so many times by trying so hard to think positive and with more faith.

That DEFINITELY works! BUT using your words has been even MORE effective for me.

There is so much power in our words as we are made in the image and likeness of God and he actually created this universe with his WORDS.

We'll talk more about that in another episode forsure.

But whenever you are battleing with your thoughts i encourage you to use your words against them.

Start speaking out loud to them with faith and you'll see you'll have a much easier time overcoming!

Hope that helps and encurages you guys!

In the times we are living in, we can use all the mental strength we can get!

Physical training is super important but don't neglect the importence and taking the time to train our minds!

Love you guys - And i'll see you guys here.. in the next Episode!
