On this episode of “Things That Matter,” worship leader and School of Worship (SOW) director, Scott Cunningham, and Pastor Brian Brodersen discuss worship ministry and SOW. Scott shares the history of SOW, as it began 15 years ago through Scott’s involvement with Pastor Joey Buran’s church, Worship Generation, and a vivid dream from the Lord. The school was born with 11 students attending that year. Today, SOW has expanded to offer biblical courses and practical training in various instruments, media track, studio recording, sound mixing and more! Scott also shares on the opportunities God has provided to host conferences like the Calvary Chapel Worship Leaders Conference and also collaborate with worship leaders, Paul Baloche & Matt Redman. The Calvary Creative brand was established three years ago that includes studio projects such as the newly released EP, "Steadfast Love." Through these opportunities, Scott reminds us that above all, the ultimate vision is to provide spirit-filled, Christ-honoring worship and keep the focus on Jesus.
