Councillor Judith Blake is the first-ever female Leader of Leeds City council, and Chair of the Core Cities UK city network. Whilst attending the Global Policy North Conference on Brexit, at the University of Leeds, Councillor Blake spoke with Global Policy: Next Generation Deputy Editor Emma Lecavalier about her work on the One Yorkshire Policy, Leeds’ involvement in transnational city networking, and challenges and opportunities facing cities in the North.
