Revelations 12:10 says, “the one who accuses them before our God day and night.” Because Satan is a legalist and doesn’t understand the gift of Grace, He’s using the Law against you and accusing you with his words before Father God for everything you do.

However, God’s made a way to help you! He gave you a public defender, an advocate, who is above reproach and knows the Law. Father God is your Judge and He’s already judged you righteous! He’s the Judge that taught your defender and advocate everything about the Law, and He’s constantly making intercession for you at the right hand of Father God.

Hebrews 3:1 say Jesus is the High Priest of your confession so when you combine His High Priestly function with His legal function of being your advocate, He becomes the counsel for your defense and the High Priest of your confession.

Jesus paid a high price on the cross with His shed Blood to set you free and His Blood is still your defense. Although Satan is accusing you before Father God, Jesus defends you in two ways. The first is that He’s always making intercession for you at the right hand of Father God, and as you make your faith confessions by speaking the Word of God, He becomes the Great High Priest of your confession. This is why your positive, faith-confession is of the utmost importance to live a victorious life! If you don’t speak the Word of God or if you have a negative confession, you give Satan the power to convict and defeat you.

Speaking positive, faith confessions is a Spiritual Law that God put into effect for your benefit to help you walk in victory. You can apply this Law to your life everyday with your faith-filled words.
