Mandlakazi and I spoke about systemic racism, white privilege, our history and its impact on democratic South Africa, and much more.
She is passionate about social justice, she has a brilliant mind and it was such a privilege to speak to and learn from her.
"It’s about acknowledging that you have this privilege and with it comes the responsibility to dismantle it. And that doesn’t mean that you have to give something up, but you need to allow space for other people to benefit also."
