To begin this episode, we have a special treat. Hasu Patel is a sitar master. She studied the iconic instrument in her native India before eventually moving to Cleveland. She became the first woman to achieve a degree in sitar in the universities 75 year history. Normally this raga, a standard style of Indian music, dates back to the 16th century, but Hasu has put a modern spin on it.
