Aram Zarikian is a musician and teacher of creative technology at the Royal Academy of Music. That in itself is enough to impress me.
Aram has worked internationally as a live and studio musician with various bands, orchestras and musical and theatre productions, appearing on stages of all sizes, as well as on radio and television. He’s been employed in management and promotion, has collaborated with many talented stage crews and sound engineers, and has booked a whole host of world-class musicians. Aram also has experience in studio recording and production at the Los Angeles Music Academy, where he worked as an instructor.
He's also taken quite a lot of Ayahuasca.
It was at such a ceremony that he and I met about six years ago at a secret location in the UK and on other occasions since, and here we take some time to delve into our darker sides and share with you some of the insights we've been gifted with through our exploration of these sacred medicines.
