On this episode of TPN The Walk On: Joel missed a spot, on his face not on his bets. The betting weekend was good to The Professional Gambler and he spends the beginning of the show gloating about his Lions big win over the Falcons and British Royalty. Things aren't going as well for Brian though, who was brought to tears of joy by his Browns epic win vs the Bengals, only to then have his heart stepped on by the loss of Odell Beckham Jr.

Then it's on to the sloppy Saturday in college football and a recap of how, exactly, Penn State managed to lost to the Indiana Hoosiers. Also, can someone let Joel know what time the Khabib fight is next time. Next, Joel rehashes his perfect betting record from NFL Sunday, and the good wagering decisions he made. Plus, he explains his new 'good weekend Peninsula Parlay", the suspicious line movement he observed on Bills vs Jets, how Todd Gurley blew it for ATL and why The Pro Gambler hates the Steelers and Titans (but was happy to win money teasing that game).

After that, Joel and Brian spend a few minutes on the World Series and give a step-by-step on how it's all setting up for Clayton Kershaw to blow it in game 7.

Moving into NFL Week 8, the guys begin their Monday ritual of discussing what we learned this past week about each team and initial leans on the betting lines. Is Bills vs Pats a stay away? Do the Steelers have teaser potential? Is Baker better than Carr? Why do the Vikings upset Brian so much? Should we bet on the Dolphins knowing we will lose? Are the Saints impressing anyone? Are the Niners in trouble vs SEA after a big win at Gillette? Can we call the Titans a no-brainer vs the Bengals? And who exactly is the Cowboys QB starting agains the Eagles?

The Walk On wraps up with a discussion of NFL Futures. Can a case actually be made for Big Ben to get his first ever MVP? Is Justin Herbert a shoe-in for Rookie of the Year or could Tua still enter the convo? Plus, does the Washington Football team actually have a chance to win the NFC East?

Time Stamps:

6:00 - NFL betting weekend and CFB reactions

19:00 - World Series

29:00 - NFL Week 8 Matchups

70:00 - NFL Futures
