Welcome to another episode of The DNA Of Purpose Podcast.

Today, I invite you to come on a journey with me. Imagine for a moment, living life by the rules. As a man in the world, you study and work hard to become an attorney. You meet a wife, and have children, and continue to walk down that path until you realise that something inside of you is out of alignment. That something doesn't feel right. That your inner self is not in any way aligned to the person the world views you as. How so you may ask? Because on the inside you do not identify with being a man. You know that you are a woman.

Today's guest is the incredible Robyn Gigl. Robyns PR team approached a few months ago to host an interview with Robyn in order to promote her new book By Way Of Sorrow. Of Course, we chatted about her book, but the reason I interviewed Robyn was all because of her story. A powerful narrative of self-acceptance, what it takes to ignite the transformation that truth can often ask of us, and a story of how she courageously let her purpose lead the way.

Robyn Gigl, the author of BY WAY OF SORROW, is an attorney, speaker and activist who has been honoured by the ACLU-New Jersey and the New Jersey Pride Network for her work on behalf of the LGBTQ community. Appointed by the New Jersey Supreme Court to the Court’s Committee on Diversity Inclusion and Community Engagement, she’s practised law for more than 40 years, representing clients in state and federal courts. She also is active in the New Jersey State Bar Association where she is a member of the Diversity Committee, the Women in the Profession Section and a Past Chair of the Bar’s LGBT Rights Section.

Today's conversation is one that dances between truth, transformation, human progress and the fight to empower true diversity in a world that needs love and acceptance more so than ever before. Welcome to the podcast Robyn.
