Anne-Brigitte Taliaferro speaks to our cultural moment and encourages our weary hearts with her faithful, eternal perspective. Our circumstances can be scary, and life can’t be tamed by our management skills. But we can find peace and cling to our hope of eternal life in the midst of earthly suffering. Many of us are in lonely or difficult times, but we can fight to keep soft, settled hearts and even find places to rejoice. 1 Peter 1:6 reminds us, So be truly glad. There is wonderful joy ahead, even though you must endure many trials for a little while.”
